Reprise! is committed to fostering the next generation of theater professionals through our dress rehearsal program. Los Angeles High School theater students are given complimentary tickets and in some cases, are provided transportation to see the dress rehearsal of one of our performances.
Participating theater teachers are provided with study guide materials as well as ground plans our our scenery, the production light plot, costume sketches and other production materials. Students study both the technical and creative aspects of the production prior to attending the dress rehearsal.
Members of the production team meet with the classes and answer questions about their specific areas of expertise. In some cases, Reprise! designers visit the classroom, serving as consultants for school productions.
