When he began his career at the age of six, radio was THE medium, and he was a regular, eager participant, even though he needed a booster to reach the microphone---and he still does! is incredibly excited to be making his debut in 1776, one of his favorite shows. Steve is overwhelmed to have the opportunity to work under Gordon Hunt and Peter Matz with REPRISE! Steve comes to REPRISE! fresh from critical and audience successes in As You Like It and The Hasty Heart at the Actors Co-op in Hollywood. In the latter he played a dour WWII Scotsman dying of kidney failure, a critically acclaimed portrayal for which he has won a Maddy Award and received a nomination for LA Weekly’s Best Male Lead. Prior to that, Steve took no offense when audiences came away convinced that he was as slow as his dim-witted character, Ellard, in Actors Co-op’s production of The Foreigner. Having entertained people in such roles as John Jasper in Drood, Jack in Into the Woods, Downey in A Few Good Men, Don Pedro in Much Ado, Count Gregor in Fools, Dewey in The Diviners and others, Steve is busy with a burgeoning film and TV career that includes appearances on numerous shows and radio & television commercials. Steve’s parents rule--for their love and continued unconditional support! Soli Deo Gloria!
