Credits include Sunday in the Park With George, Carmen, Casey at the Bat the musical, Annie Get Your Gun, Me and My Girl, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Broadway '99 and his one man show No More Mister Nice Guy! Also James had the pleasure of being a part of Ann Reinking's Broadway Theatre Project. The former pro-football player turned actor has been conveying instant excitement since he left his home of Cleveland, Ohio for Hollywood. A multi-talented performer, James has worked as a radio personality for a top Cleveland based R&B station and toured with an improvisational comedy troupe. Many recall James from his role as the dynamic security specialist, Michael Hailey, on the UPN series The Burning Zone. He has been steadily racking up a long list of other television and film credits in a short while. James was the basketball player speaking the King’s English, “Excuse me, what’s my motivation” in the Sprite commercial. In addition to The Burning Zone, his television credits include: Star Trek: Deep Space 9, Silk Stalkings, Babylon 5, Living Single, Sisters, America’s Most Wanted and two HBO movies, Don King: Only in America and Criminal Intent. More recently, James was a series regular voice of the claymation family, The PJs and guest starred on The Profiler. Film credits include: Godzilla, Out of Sight with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez, Soldiers playing Kurt Russell’s ultimate rescuer, Substitute III and Universal Soldier II.

Favorite role: Ben Hur in the hit flop Ben Hur – The Musical that premiered in Orlando, Florida on 1/1/00 with millions of dollars and went absolutely nowhere (David is still waiting for a paycheck). David’s first appearance with REPRISE! was as John Hinckley in Assassins. He gained critical acclaim when, after a two year search, was chosen to replace Donny Osmond as Joseph in the national tour of Joseph… He played Peter in the national tour of another Lloyd Webber musical Jesus Christ Superstar. He was in the original cast of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s new Broadway musical State Fair and originated the role of Charlie in the world premiere musical Peggy Sue Got Married. Most recently he finished working on Disney’s upcoming animated feature Home on the Range, where he plays a singing cowboy named Willy. He can also be heard voicing the role of the Prince in the Warner Brothers animated feature The King and I. Last season in Seattle, David played Billy in Paris Barclay’s Letters from ‘Nam, reprising the role he originated at the Kennedy Center and then at Boston’s North Shore Theatre opposite Maureen McGovern. Regional credits include roles in The Children of Eden (Cain-Robby Award), Triumph of Love (Agis), Godspell (Jesus) and additional productions of Joseph… (Dramalogue Award). At the Ahmanson, she appeared in Sir Peter Hall's productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Measure For Measure and received raves for The Education of Randy Newman at South Coast Repertory. Internationally, Jennifer sang with Al Jarreau in Denmark and rocked the Japanese by singing gospel in their own language.
