Larry is a recipient of the ’08 Ovation Award for his direction of Singin’ in the Rain (Cabrillo Music Theatre). He is an Ace nominee (Argentina’s equivalent of the Tony Award) for his direction of Sweet Charity in Buenos Aires starring Latin American superstar Florencia Pena. A founding member of Coyote StageWorks in Palm Springs, he just directed the inaugural play, Greater Tuna. Other credits include: the post-Broadway premiere of Never Gonna Dance (with Tony winner Harriet Harris) at Musical Theatre West; The Velveteen Rabbit at Off-Broadway’s Promenade Theatre; The Thing About Men (MTW); The Producers (Gateway Playhouse); Always Patsy Cline (Welk Resort Theatre); I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (MTW) and stagings of Forever Plaid from New York to LA to Tokyo. He directed and co-authored the original musical revue Hollywood’s Heyday, a tribute to the great movie musicals. In Canada, he co-authored and staged Motown at the Twilight.
