Most people who love theatre got hooked when they were just kids. Unfortunately, for many reasons shows aren't accessible to all members ofour community. That's why bringing students to see our musicals is just as important to us as putting on the shows themselves. Since our founding, over 15,000 students have seen a Reprise production.
We don't stop there. Just seeing a performance is not enough for us! Students are visited in their participating classrooms by Reprise teaching artists both before and after they attend the production. Themes from each production are woven together with existing class curriculum teaching students not only about theatre, but furthering their studies in their classrooms. The program culminates in a writing assignment where students connect the lesson plan to their own lives and the world around them.
We are committed to providing this program at no cost to participating schools.
