STEPHEN BOGARDUS (Stine)

As an actor, Mr. Brenner has performed at many of the Civic Light Opera’s across the country and has been seen as Tobias in Sweeney Todd (with Jean Stapleton), Charlie in Tintypes Off-Broadway, the hit revival of New Faces of ‘52 starring it’s original star Eartha Kitt, as well as Fiddler, Midsummer Night’s Dream, La Mancha, Godspell, 1776, Music Man, …Forum, and many others.  Mr. Brenner was an original Los Angeles member of the acclaimed Improv group Sills and Co., later becoming The Spolin Players.  He can be seen in the ABC/Disney film ‘Geppetto” and the film Tap. Randy has had guest star appearances on various TV shows such as “Seinfeld,” “Coach,” “Night Court,” “Princesses” and others. As a director, Mr. Brenner has directed many plays and musicals, including the successful off –Broadway hit The Only Thing Worse you Could Have Told Me, and the groundbreaking new production of Stephen Sondheim’s Marry Me a Little (sanctioned by Mr. Sondheim). Mr. Brenner is the founder and artistic producing director of Cardboard Belt Productions which has just co-produced Stephen Schwartz’s new musical Snapshots, which Mr. Brenner also directed. Snapshots will begin its National tour this year.

GARY CEARLOCK (Ensemble)

most recently appeared as Frog in International City Theatre’s production of A Year with Frog and Toad, and is thrilled to once again be working with Kay Cole, who directed that production.  Cearlock began his performing career as a featured soloist at Opryland U.S.A. in Nashville, and subsequently appeared as Bob Cratchit in the Los Angeles premiere of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Shrine Auditorium.  He appeared in West Coast Ensemble’s productions of Catch-22 and The Grapes of Wrath, the latter of which was the recipient of L.A. Weekly’s “Revival of the Year” Award.  Cearlock also originated the role of Joseph-Michel in the Equity workshop production of the original musical Poet’s Garden.  Performances in tours, stock, regional and dinner theatres across the U.S. and Canada include such favorite roles as Jamie Lockhart in The Robber Bridegroom (Colony Theatre), the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors and Marvin in March of the Falsettos.

TAMI TAPPAN DAMIANO (Gabby/Bobbi)

is originally from Washington, D.C., where she received the Helen Hayes Award for Supporting Actress in Lydie Breeze by John Guare. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon, and was seen on Broadway as Ellen in Miss Saigon, a role she also performed in Los Angeles. Tami most recently performed as Sarah in Guys and Dolls for Musical Theatre West, Queenie in The Wild Party for Musical Theatre Guild, Side by Side by Sondheim at the Rubicon Theatre (2004 Ovation Nomination), Diva #1 in Swing! at South Bay CLO, Polly in Crazy for You at Musical Theatre West (2003 Ovation Nomination), and Stella in  A Streetcar Named Desire for the Rubicon Theatre . Favorite roles include Princess Leonide in Triumph of Love (Santa Barbara CLO), Kathy in Singin' in the Rain (Musical Theatre West), Woman 1 in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Musical Theatre West, La Mirada) and Shirley in Lady Be Good (La Fenice Opera, Venice, Italy). Tami just finished her solo CD for LML Music, “Hot Notes”, and is performing in concerts all over.  Television appearances include “Third Rock from the Sun,” “The Good Doctor: The Paul Fleiss Story” and “The Drew Carey Show.  You can hear Tami as the singing voice of Cinderella in the soon to be released DVD, Cinderella III for Disney and as Cinderella on “The Princess Tea Party Album”.  Much love to my husband, Chris, and to our son Dante. Love you, boys!

KEVIN EARLEY (Jimmy Powers)

This marks Kevin’s sixth show with REPRISE!: A New Brain, Assassins, Follies, Most Happy Fella and (LA Drama Critic's Circle Award for Rutledge) 1776. Recently at the Kodak Theater he portrayed Ramases the Pharaoh against Val Kilmer’s Moses in The Ten Commandments.  Before that, he enjoyed being back on Broadway as Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Mille, previously in the Broadway and National Touring Companies of Les Miserables.  In Chicago, his home town, he worked with theaters including The Marriott Lincolnshire, Dury Lane South, Dury Lane Oakbrook, Appletree and The Chicago Theater. While there he received the Joseph Jefferson Award for the Balladeer in Assassins (Appletree Theatre.). For the last several years Kevin has been a part of the Los Angeles community, working with such theaters as The Hollywood Bowl, CLO South Bay, The Colony, MTG, Laguna Playhouse and La Mirada in shows including: City of Angels, Carousel, The Music Man, My Fair Lady, Titanic, Guys and Dolls, My Way, Spitfire Grill and (Ovation Nomination for Terry Connor) Side Show.  Kevin will once again return to the California Philharmonic on September 10th for their Festival on the Green Series: Bernstein on Broadway.  Kevin recently recorded his debut album, Earley Standards available at the merchandise table during intermission. ERIC LEVITON (Ensemble/ u/s Buddy Fidler)

A graduate of UCLA, Eric has performed all over the United States, as well as on London’s West End and in Sydney, Australia. He’s toured in such shows as The Full Monty (as Dave Bukatinsky), Seussical, the Musical (as Horton, the Elephant) starring Cathy Rigby, and Damn Yankees (as Sohovik) starring Jerry Lewis. Eric also appeared in the long-running, Ovation-nominated revival of The Rocky Horror Show (as Eddie and Dr. Scott) starring David Arquette. He has taken on the role of The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz for McCoy/Rigby Entertainment (a performance for which he received a prestigious Drama-Logue Award) and twice for the Sacramento Music Circus.  Eric’s numerous television credits include roles on "Scrubs," "Diagnosis Murder," "Beverly Hills 90210," and Disney’s "Annie," as well as a recurring role as The Heckler on "Late Night with Conan O’Brien." Eric is also a proud member of the Musical Theatre Guild. Eric just returned from New York, where he spent two weeks at The Hideaway Room at Helen’s, performing his two-man show, A Little Traveling Music, of which he is the co-creator and producer.

VICKI LEWIS (Donna/Oolie)

most recently starred on Broadway as Velma Kelly in the revival of Chicago and performed the role at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.  She also starred on Broadway in numerous productions including Pal Joey, the Tony nominated   Damn Yankees and The Crucible.  Vicki performed as a soloist with the New York Pops at Carnegie hall under the direction of Skitch Henderson. She appears on the original cast recordings of Pal Joey and Damn Yankees as well as Unsung Irving Berlin, Gershwin’s Girl Crazy, Zing A Little Bing and A Broadway Christmas.  She appeared with Garrison Keillor at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.  She voices characters for “King of the Hill,” “Rugrats,” “The Wild Thornberries,” “An Extremely Goofy Movie,” “Mission Hill” and the new animated series “Betsy’s Kindergarten Adventures.”  Vicki is also the voice of Deb and Flo in Pixar’s recent animated blockbuster Finding Nemo. Vicki starred as Beth on NBC’s “Newsradio” for six seasons and as Nora on NBC’s “Three Sisters” for three seasons.  She had recurring roles on “Seinfeld”, “Home Improvement” “Grace Under Fire” and “Norm,” and guest starred on “Caroline in the City”, “Murphy Brown”, “The Five Mrs. Buchanan’s” and “Phenom.”  She also stared in the made for television movies “Bye Bye Birdie” and the “Huntress.”  Her feature film work includes starring roles in Mousehunt, Godzilla, Pushing Tin, I’ll Do Anything and Breakfast of Champions.  Vicki is an activist for animal rights and volunteers her time to rescue organizations.

MARGUERITE MacINTYRE

Broadway/Off-Broadway: Avril/Mallory in City of Angels (Broadway debut), Bertha/Scatcherd in Jane Eyre, Sarah Stone in No Way To Treat A Lady ,Grace Farrell in Annie Warbucks, Mata in Mata Hari and Delphi in Alan Mencken’s Weird Romance.  Regionally: Nellie Forbush in South Pacific at Papermill, Brunnhilde in Das Barbecue at Goodspeed, Jane Eyre at La Jolla Playhouse, A…My Name is Alice at Barrington Stage, and Fay in Loot at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.  Los Angeles theater includes Cassie in Bold Girls at the Matrix, Mildred in Farenheit 451 at the Falcon, and Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera for REPRISE!  She’s participated in five original cast recordings.  Lots of TV/Film: recently “Bones,” “Numbers,” “Inconceivable,” Emma Prince on “The Shield,” “Red Dragon,” “Law and Order: SVU,” “Navy NCIS,” “Strong Medicine,” “Judging Amy,” “The Practice” and not recently, but a personal favorite and her first job in LA, Miss Rhode Island on “Seinfeld.” She also appeared as Abby Day on “The Days” for ABC.  Next up, the new sci-fi series “Kyle XY.”

ALLI MAUZEY (Mallory/Avril)

It was a hot and humid New York City night.  The air was thick with subway steam and possibility.  Alli had just finished her Broadway debut in Hairspray.  Little did she know what was to come… a national tour of Hairspray, a run at the Pasadena Playhouse as Snookie in 110 in the Shade, the new Stephen Schwartz review Snapshots, and the global animated series Alpha Teens on Machines.   This New York University Graduate was smokin’, see, like a cockroach in hot grease.  Her next move was simple, a leading role at The Laguna Playhouse in the West Coast Premier of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!).  But all that wasn't enough for this classy dame.  She kept her eye on the prize like a cat eyes a mouse.   This cat caught her mouse, a role at Reprise! in City of Angels.  Only time knows the secret of what’s next for this Actors’ Equity member.  And time, like a bad polyester suit will always crack.  You can bet your brother you'll want to be there when it does.

BURKE MOSES (Stone)

made his Broadway debut as Sky Masterson in the revival of Guys and Dolls.  He went on to originate the role of Gaston in the Broadway, Los Angeles and London productions of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.  He played Fred Graham/Petruchio in the revival of Kiss Me Kate and recently appeared in The Frogs at LincolnCenter.  He has appeared in CityCenter’s Encores! series in Dubarry Was A Lady, The New Moon and Lil’ Abner, at the City Opera in Most Happy Fella, and The Way of the World at the Public.  Regionally: Denver Center in Carousel and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, at the Hartford Stage in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Streetcar Named Desire at the Alliance, Music Man and The Sound of Music at Theater Under the Stars, and Goodspeed Opera’s Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.  Television: “Third Rock Under the Sun,” “The Hughleys,” “Family Law,” “Caroline in the City,” “Cybil,” “The Nanny,” “Ladies Man,” “The Client,” “Spencer for Hire,” “As the World Turns,” “One Life To Live,” etc…  He can be heard on the Broadway and London original cast albums of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Frogs and The New Moon.

WES RAMSEY (Peter Kingsley)

began acting with Walden Theater in his hometown of Louisville, KY at age thirteen. He moved to NY to continue his love for theater at the prestigious JuilliardSchool where he graduated in 2000. His television credits include “The Guiding Light” from 2000 to 2002 and the short lived 2003 Fox series “Luis” with Luis Guzman. He has guest starred on “CSI: Miami” and the WB's “Charmed.” His film credits include lead roles in Latter Days with Jacqueline Bisset, the upcoming comedy Slippery Slope and the horror film Brotherhood of Blood. Mr. Ramsey would like to thank his family and friends for their continuing love and support in his career and his return to the stage. He would also like to thank REPRISE! for welcoming him into their world.

TERESA MARIE SANCHEZ (Angel City Four)

Having appeared in the REPRISE! versions of The Pajama Game and Wonderful Town, Teresa Marie is delighted to reunite with REPRISE! for City of Angels.  She is a graduate of UCLA’s Theater Film and Television department and a (two time) Carol Burnett Award winner. She also had the opportunity to be directed by Ms. Burnett for the lead role in UCLA’s Once Upon A Mattress.  Teresa appeared as Ariel in Footloose for both the Broadway and national tour productions. Other memorable shows include: Happy Days (Tina), How to Succeed…(Rosemary), Once on this Island(TiMoune), Selena… (Teacher,) Shreek! (Jaime Lee) and Assassins (Squeaky Fromme). She is also known as “Marie,” lead singer for the band Sweetness (www.sweetnesstheband.com). Teresa would like to thank her family (especially her parents) and friends for their undying support and sends special thanks to Tom Lenk and Rudi Tcruz for always being there in times of need. BRENT SCHINDELE (Angel City Four)

spent much of last year creating the role of Big Willy (and many others) in the First National Company of the recent Off-Broadway hit, The Musical of Musicals – The Musical! at the Laguna Playhouse and the Hal Prince Theater in Philadelphia.  Prior to that, he completed a two-year run in the Broadway touring company of Jesus Christ Superstar in the role of Peter, though he also played Simon the Zealot, Keyboard III in the orchestra pit, and ten other parts (but not all at once.)  In Los Angeles, he sang from the piano in Side By Side By Sondheim and Noel Coward’s Tonight at 8:30, which he also scored and conducted, winning an L.A. Drama Critics’ Circle Award.  He has played Tony in many productions of West Side Story, including the national touring company.  Local regional credits include Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Joseph in Joseph…Dreamcoat, Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret, Tommy Albright in Brigadoon, and The Guy in Sondheim’s Marry Me A Little.  He is a graduate of DartmouthCollege and appeared in 13 Days with Kevin Costner.  Actors’ Equity since 1997.  Philippians 4:13.

JOE SOUZA (Angel City Four)

has most recently appeared on the LA stage in the new hit musical Bark! where he created the role of Charlie and can be heard on the original cast recording.  Joe played Didier, in the award winning, world premiere of Sneaux at the Matrix Theatre.  He was seen Off-Broadway in Gorgeous Mosaic and Nelson Jewell’s Working Out With Leona.  Other regional theatrical credits include Ramon in the Chicago premiere of Love! Valor! Compassion!, Matt in The Fantastiks, Judas in Godspell, Kalman in The Rothschilds and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Joe also worked alongside Arthur Kopit in a reading of Mr. Kopit’s new musical Lewis and Clark.  Television credits include “Scrubs,” “What I like About You,” “GeneralHospital,” “Oprah” and the sketch comedy series “The Big Fat Nude Hippo Show.”  Joe can also be seen in several commercials.  Most recent film credits include High Stakes, Crimes of Passion and a leading role in the upcoming film Live Fast, Die Young.

HERSCHEL SPARBER (Big Six)

It is the greatest pleasure to revisit the role of Big Six and to live again in the world of Stone and Stine.  In addition to City of Angels, Herschel has also appeared as Big Jule in the Broadway production of Guys and Dolls.  Regionally he has worked among others, at the Cleveland Playhouse, the Birmingham Theatre Kings County Shakespeare and the Mark Taper Forum.  He is also a founding member of Tennessee Rep in Nashville.  He has also worked in Los Angeles at the Hudson Guild, the Laurel Grove and is a member of Friends and Artists Theater with Sal Romeo.  Some TV roles included recurring roles on “Deep Space 9,” “NYPD Blue” and “Boy Meets World,” as well as assorted guest and costarring roles.  Film roles include the The Birdcage, and perhaps the worst King Kong movie ever made, “King Kong Lives.” 

ANNE FRASER THOMAS (Angel City Four)

is pleased to be returning to REPRISE!, having last appeared in Company (Vocal Minority/Marta u/s).  Other recent credits include Molly in Bark! (Coast Playhouse), Mrs. Nordstrom in A Little Night Music (Performance Riverside), Passion (East West Players), Kiss Me, Kate (Musical Theatre West), No, No Nanette (Musical Theatre Guild), Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly! and Rose Alvarez in Bye, Bye Birdie. During the day she can be seen in Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular at Disney’s California Adventure, and she just completed another season as part of the Main Street Carolers at Disneyland. Anne is currently singing backup for Alexis Gershwin and does casting for independent film projects. Many thanks to Michael and River for their support and encouragement. She is pleased to be working with Jerry and Kay again and is blessed to have the love and support of her husband Daniel.

FREYDA THOMAS (Ensemble)

As an actor, Freyda Thomas has appeared on and off-Broadway and in regional and stock theatres from Alaska to Florida, from Boston to Los Angeles, playing leading and supporting roles too numerous to mention. You can see her on TV in reruns of “Star Trek,” “Murphy Brown,” “Murder She Wrote,” “Newhart,” “Quantum Leap,” “Coach” and several TV movies. As a cruise ship chanteuse she has entertained audiences from Canada to Bora Bora. As a playwright (her current métier) her work has been produced on and off Broadway and in several major regional theatres around the country, including a recent smash hit production of The Gamester at American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, published by Dramatists Play Service, Inc.  Her 2 Molière adaptations, The Learned Ladies (off-Broadway) and Tartuffe: Born Again (on Broadway) are published by Samuel French, Inc.  Her new play, School for Trophy Wives, opens this spring at CalRep in Long Beach. Her most satisfying career was as vocalist for 30 years with her father Eddie Shaw and his orchestra. She returns to the stage for the sole purpose and pleasure of working with director Joseph Leonardo one more time.
