MICHAEL ARDEN (Pippin)

Broadway: Big River (Tom Sawyer) 2004 recipient of the Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in Theatre, Encores Bash! At City Center. Off-Bway: BARE; a pop opera (Peter), It’s Only Life; The Music of John Bucchino, Harold and Maude (Harold). Regional: God of Vengeance, Falsettoland (WTF), The Common Pursuit, As You Like It, The Winter’s Tale (Juilliard), West Side Story and Songs for a New World.  Michael was most recently seen opposite Ben Vereen, Rosie O'Donnell and Charles Busch as Pippin the World AIDS Day benefit concert of Pippin.  As a composer: Easter Rising, As You Like It and Ripley. RYAN ASHLEY (Player)

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Ryan Ashley has been performing since childhood.  Ryan made his Broadway debut in 2000 in the ensemble of Saturday Night Fever.  In 2001, he was working on the Saturday Night Fever 1st National Tour.  In the spring of 2002, Ryan was honored to have the opportunity to work for Paul McCartney on his Driving Rain-US Tour.  In the fall of 2002, Ryan was offered the role of Tony in the Saturday Night Fever 2nd National Tour.  In 2003, Ryan worked on the Ricky Martin video “Juramento.”  He then danced for Beyonce Knolls in the Radio Music Awards-2003 and the MTV-European Music Awards (Scotland)-2003.  Last year in 2004, Ryan started off the year in a Radio Shack Commercial with Vanessa Williams.  Was swing dancing in the movie Be Cool.  Dancing on an Emmy Nominated episode of “Malcolm in the Middle.”  In the summer of 2004, Ryan was excited to be a part of  The Ten Commandments- Kodak Theater.  The end of 2004 finished with a great role in an episode of “Arrested Development.”  Along with all else, Ryan Ashley is a professional DJ.

DANIAL J. BROWN (Player)

made his Broadway debut in the original cast of Saturday Night Fever.  He went on to do the first national tour and then choreographed and co-directed the Spanish version in Mexico City.  Danial's L.A. credits include numerous commercials, T.V. appearances and movie credits including Platinum Blond, Breakin, “Fame” and "In performance at the White House".  Most recently he focuses his energy in to the art of choreography and the healing arts of massage and Mantra.  Danial sends a huge thank you to his friends and family for their love and support.

SUZANNE CARLTON (Player)

formerly Suzanne Harrer, is a newlywed and honored to make her debut at REPRISE! Credits include Broadway companies of Fosse, Saturday Night Fever and Chicago, and National Tours of Jerome Robbins Broadway, Beauty and the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar and Chicago where she performed the role of Roxie as the understudy for Chita Rivera and Marilu Henner. Regionally, she has performed such roles as Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, Woman #2 in As the World Goes Round, Val in A Chorus Line, Angel in Best Little Whorehouse and Ilona in She Loves Me. She has shared the stage with Ben Vereen, Ann Reinking, Bebe Newirth, Hal Linden, Joel Grey, Carl Anderson, Cathy Rigby and Tom Bosley. In addition to performing, Suzanne is an award-winning choreographer producing original works for The House of Blues, Jazz Dance L.A, and The Century Club. She has taught Musical Theater Dance at U.C. Irvine and recently recreated Jerome Robbins’ original choreography in West Side Story at Thousand Oaks Civic Theater. RACHEL MONTEZ COLLINS (Player)

She has also appeared in commercials and music videos. She would like to thank her family, friends, and the great Bob Fosse for all of her "Magic To Do."

RAY GARCIA (Player)

a native Texan, is excited to be doing his first show with REPRISE!  Broadway credits include: Rent (Angel/ swing), Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby and here In LA: The Ten Commandments with Val Kilmer at the Kodak Theatre. Regional: Fame, West Side Story, Evita, Annie Get Your Gun (Tommy Keeler), La Cage Aux Folles (Hanna), Tommy, JC Superstar. TV: “Son of the Beach” (guest star) and worked as a dancer on Italian TV for 3 years in Rome. Thanks to the production team of Pippin and to all family and friends. Much love to Syl and Brian!

SAM HARRIS (Leading Player)

On Broadway Sam starred in The Life (Tony, Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk nominations, New York Drama League Award), The Producers, Grease (Drama Desk nomination) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Off-Broadway/Regional productions include Hair (with REPRISE!), Jesus Christ Superstar, Cabaret, The Jazz Singer, Hard Copy, Different Hats, Revival and SAM.. On television, Sam first came to national attention on “Star Search” and has appeared on numerous specials and every talk show, his favorite being Oprah Winfrey’s “Music to Heal Our Hearts” after 9/11.  Sam has toured the globe in concert including sell-outs at New York’s Carnegie Hall, Los Angeles’ Universal Amphitheatre and London’s West End. Harris is also a multi-million selling recording artist whose discography includes Sam Harris, Sam-I-Am, Standard Time (with Peter Matz conducting/arranging), Different Stages (with Matz), Revival, On This Night, Always, as well as multiple cast albums and guest artist recordings. He wrote the musicals Hard Copy, Revival and, most recently, the LA smash hit SAM; co-wrote the musical Hurry! Hurry! Hollywood!, which he also directed; and co-created/wrote the television sitcom “Down To Earth,” which aired for 4 years.  He also co-produced the television special “Love Letter to New York,” and is a published essayist. 

MIMI HINES (Berthe)

Mimi’s enduring career as a singer/comedienne started on August 28, 1958 when she and her partner, Phil Ford, appeared on The Tonight Show for the first time.  Mimi sang “Till There Was You", Jack Paar cried and Ford & Hines were in instant demand, frequently appearing on that show and many others.  After headlining in all the top showrooms in the country, Mimi parlayed her career by replacing Barbra Streisand on Broadway in Funny Girl for an 18 month run, followed by  National Tours of Prisoner of Second Avenue, and with Phil Ford,  I Do! I Do!, Hello Dolly! and Sugar Babies.  Mimi also recorded several very successful albums for Decca Records (recently released on  CD ) and appeared often on television and in concert halls throughout the world.  Mimi  appeared  as Mrs. Latimer on Frasier and  was a guest on The Rosie O’Donnell Show during its final week, after having  returned to Broadway as Miss Lynch in  Tommy Tune's hit revival of Grease.   She recently toured as Sister Mary Amnesia in the All-Star 20th Anniversary Tour of Nunsense.  Born in Vancouver, Mimi currently resides in Las Vegas and is thrilled to once again be performing in a REPRISE! production, where she last appeared as the mentally ill but loveable religious fanatic, Letitia Primrose, in On The Twentieth Century. 

CHRISTA JACKSON (Player)

is thrilled to be back with REPRISE! where she was last seen in Babes in Arms. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, she graduated from Northside School of Performing Arts.  She has performed all over the world, sharing the stage with Sandy Duncan, Tommy Tune, Nell Carter and most recently Val Kilmer in The Ten Commandments.  Her Southern roots have continued to be utilized playing Patsy Cline (2 time Ovation Nominee) in Always, Patsy Cline with her dear friend Sally Struthers.  Other credits include: Broadway: Grease.   National Tours: Sandy in Grease, Smokey Joe’s Café, The British Rock Symphony Tour with Roger Daltrey, and Heartstrings.  Regional credits include: Annie in Annie Get Your Gun, Eva in Evita, Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing…, Erma in Anything Goes, Ann/Bunny u/s in Babes in Arms, Hair, Nurse in Tommy and Fatima in Boys from Syracuse.  She can be seen in the independent feature Get Your Stuff and has two songs on the soundtrack. Christa has been featured on “The Today Show,” “Good Morning America” and “Eye on LA.”  She also can be heard on Country Music Artist Ty Herndon’s Christmas Album.  Love & Light to Dan, the REPRISE! JEAN LOUISA KELLY (Catherine)

Film:  The Fantasticks (Luisa)  Mr. Holland’s Opus (Rowena Morgan), Uncle Buck (Tia).  Broadway:  Into the Woods (original Broadway cast).  Off-Broadway:  The It Girl (title role).  Los Angeles:  Company (REPRISE!), Merrily We Roll Along (REPRISE!), Follies (RERPISE!).  Regional:  R.S.V.P. Broadway, Gigi, A Little Night Music.  Ms. Kelly played Kim for 4 years on the CBS hit comedy "Yes, Dear."  She was also a series regular on the NBC dramedy "Cold Feet."  Other television credits include Hallmark Hall of Fame presentations of "Breathing Lessons" and "Harvest of Fire," TNT’s "The Day Lincoln Was Shot," ABC Disney’s "The Ruby Bridges Story," the recurring role of Nurse Diane on "Mad About You" and appearances on "Law and Order," "Homicide," and "Ally McBeal."

JOANNA LOUISE (Player)

was born in Leicester, England.  She trained at the Dixon Woods School of Dance and went on to train at Melton College of Performing Arts studying many different styles of dance and theater, graduating top of her class. Joanna made her theater debut in Oliver and has been taking the stage ever since!  Credits include international tour of Spirit of the Dance, Boogie Nights, Starlight Express, West Side Story and seen most recently in the new musical Hoagy.  Television credits include "Generation Game," "My Kind of People, "Stars in Your Eyes," "Top of the Pops" and a new pilot called "The Dancer" coming out soon.  Joanna thanks her ever-loving family and husband for their support.

CRAIG M. LUCAS (Player)

is happy to be joining REPRISE! in one of his favorite musicals. Craig just completed a run of The Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theatre.  He has spent the first six months of this year touring with Ann-Margret in her cabaret act Here! Now! Other credits include Radio City Christmas Spectacular, La Cage Aux Follies, Sweet Charity. Love to all his friends and family!

LISA MANDEL (Player)

is a native Nevadan and a graduate of the University of Arizona (BSBA-MKTG).  She has crisscrossed North America in such shows as The Will Rogers Follies, starring Keith Carradine, Applause, starring Stefanie Powers and Barry Manilow’s Copacabana.  She made her Broadway debut in Andrew Llyod Webber’s Sunset Boulevard and understudied the role of Ulla in The Producers.  Regional work with Utah’s Pioneer Theatre Company (Crazy For You, …Forum and Peter Pan, where she played the largest Tiger Lily ever seen on the American Musical Theatre stage), The Papermill Playhouse, several NYC workshops  and live industrials round out her onstage credits.  Recurring roles on television’s ATWT, David Letterman, Dr. Vegas and several national commercials keep her rents paid.  At the end of the Pippin run, Lisa will join the National Company of Mamma Mia! in the role of Tanya. Lisa sits on the National Board of Directors for the University of Arizona’s Alumni Association.

LUBA MASON (Fastrada)

most recently starred opposite Val Kilmer in The Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theatre in the role of Bithia.  On Broadway,  she starred in Jekyll & Hyde as Lucy, the sexpot Hedy LaRue opposite Matthew Broderick in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Paul Simon’s The Capeman, Trevor Nunn’s Sunset Boulevard and Ziegfeld’s Favorite in the Tony-Award winning The Will Rogers’ Follies directed by Tommy Tune.  On Television, she guest starred on “NYPD Blue,” “Law & Order,” “Now & Again,” “New York Undercover,” “All My Children” and “One Life To Live.”  While Luba has sung on many original cast albums, she re-entered the recording studio when Ruben Blades approached her to guest perform on his 2003 Grammy Award winning album “Mundo.”  Her vocal interpretation of the Irish classic Danny Boy was hailed by the LA Times and the Boston Globe.  Her solo debut album “Collage” followed.  It is “a beautiful marriage of Latin, Pop, Jazz and Folk,” and Luba is “a powerfully emotional song interpreter”, (Jonathan Widran, Allmusic critic).  “A voice with a brain behind it”, (James Gavin, Time Out N.Y.).  Released October 2004 on PS Classics.  Luba is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and Circle in the Square.  www.lubamason.com 

JILL MORRISON (Player)

is delighted to be performing in her first production with REPRISE!  She was most recently seen as Marilyn Monroe in the 10th Annual Welk Christmas Show (Welk Resort Theatre).  Jill has also been seen as Zaneeta in The Music Man (FCLO), as Val in A Chorus Line (McCoy Rigby) and dancing in Mame and My Fair Lady (Hollywood Bowl).  Other favorite roles include Cassie in A Chorus Line, Reno in Anything Goes, Belladova in Phantom, Maisie in The Boyfriend, Liesl in The Sound of Music.  Jill earned a B.F.A. in Dance and B.A. in Media Arts from the University of Arizona.  She was once crowned Miss Dance of Southern California (DMA).  Many thanks to Bruce, Marcia, Gordon, Dan and Jerry for this opportunity.  Jill would like to tell Johnny that she loves him and thank her family for their constant support.

DIGO PADOVAN (Player)

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he started his career as a gymnast, competing in international sport aerobic competitions as a member of the Brazilian team.  Digo won the world championship six times, and participated in an exposition performance at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.  He choreographed a special for MTV Brazil featuring Julio Iglesias and Thalia.  Digo has been featured in an internet trailer for the movie Swept Away featuring Madonna and performed in the Nike Tour 2004.  He has worked with Niki Harris, Deborah Cox, Shakira and others. Recently he made his musical theatre debut in The Ten Commandments featuring Val Kilmer. He is very proud to be a part of  Pippin which has been a dream come true.  Thanks to god, family, Clear Talent and friends for their support.

GRAHAM PHILLIPS (Theo)

Broadway:  A Christmas Carol- the Musical with Jim Dale (Tiny Tim).  Los Angeles:  The Ten Commandments-The Musical with Val Kilmer (Son of Moses-soloist “The Ten”).  New York:  National Dance Institute Event of the Year- My Place (vocal soloist).  Regional:  Amahl and the Night Visitors (Amahl), Mame, Alexander and the Terrible…Day (Alexander).  Film:  Noel  (Boy Soprano-original score -Alan Menken/ lyrics-Stephen Schwartz).  Television:  Judging Amy, King of Queens, The Today Show, Good Day New York. Various solo performances include The Star-Spangled Banner (Los Angeles Dodgers) and Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. Graham sends special thanks to his vocal teacher, Eric Vetro.

CONRAD JOHN SCHUCK (Charlemagne)

began his 40 some year career at The Cleveland Play House.  Since then he has acted in over 200 productions across the United States and Europe.  Plucked from San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theatre in 1969 by Robert Altman to  play “Painless,” in the original M*A*S*H motion picture, John began what has been a non-stop film and television career.  His first screen kiss was with Elizabeth Taylor.  He has starred with Charleton Heston, Bette Midler, Richard Burton, Peter Ustinov, Rock Hudson and Donald Sutherland to name a few. His most recent movie was Woody Allen’s, The Curse of the Jade Scorpion!  On Broadway, he played Daddy Warbucks for 1 1/2 years in Annie and reprised the role in the recent Broadway revival.  Most recently he played Buffalo Bill in Annie Get Your Gun with the highly acclaimed Reba McEntire.  Television fans will remember John as Enright in “McMillian and Wife” starring Rock Hudson.  John has guest starred in over 75 shows, most recently “Law and Order SVU” and “Enterprise”.  John is married to the well known west coast painter Harrison Houle. They designed and built their dream beach house together and still found time to smile and talk civilly to one another.  Life is GOOD!

ABE SYLVIA (Lewis)

happily returns to REPRISE! where he previously appeared in Call Me Madam, Mack and Mabel and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Credits include the Broadway company of Cats (Rum Tum Tugger, later Munkustrap), the National Tour of Joseph (Reuben), Terrance Mann’s Romeo and Juliet (Paris) and the pre-Broadway tour of the Tommy Tune / Jeff Calhoun musical Busker Alley (Charley Youngblood), a show he booked while still a junior at The Boston Conservatory where he later earned his BFA. Film/TV: Pearl Harbor, “The Sopranos.”  Abe is currently a third year MFA Film Director at UCLA, his first film, Feltch Sanders won the title, “Most Original Film”, as part of UCLA’s Director’s Spotlight and is currently making the rounds on the festival circuit.  His new short film, My Mother’s Hairdo, starring Joyce Van Patten and Barbara Rush, and winner of the Jack Nicholson Distinguished Student Director Award, should be completed in the coming month. An original cast member of Mel Brooks’ Broadway smash The Producers, Abe returns to New York in March to appear in the film version.

SHAUN THOMPSON (Player)

A New Jersey native, Shaun began training at Rowan University where he received his B.S. in Sports Science and a minor in Theater/Dance.  Upon moving to L.A. one year ago, Shaun has choreographed fitness videos for Kathy Smith Lifestyles, appeared in The Ten Commandments Original Cast, choreographed by Travis Payne.  His TV/Film credits include “Six Feet Under,” Beauty Shop (Rosaro/Jamal), “VH-1 Dance Show” (Dan Karaty).  He is also a company member of Fusion Entertainment (Michael Schwandt.)  Shaun can also be found teaching Group Fitness and Hip Hop classes at Equinox Fitness Centers and for ECA World Fitness conventions!
